Tell us about your job
The position requires me to be highly organised and that’s something I really like. There are lots of boxes to tick, orders to be processed correctly and customer needs fulfilled. I also get a real buzz from being helpful and resolving issues quickly and efficiently.
My daily work is varied and includes a wide range of tasks such as receiving and placing sports nutrition orders from gyms, dealing with enquiries, filing and reporting stock delivery shortages and damages, assisting the Glanbia Account Manager with reports and stock orders, dealing with invoices and creating a monthly report for the company’s management team.
A good life/work balance is extremely important to me and my role delivers exactly that. I currently work in a hybrid arrangement, with part of the week spent at home and the rest based at the office in Worcestershire where I am part of an exceptional team of friendly and supportive people.
What is it like to work for Instore?
I have never worked for such a professional company before. From the moment I joined, it was instantly apparent that I was experiencing an organisation that values its employees and treats them well.
Full training is provided to everyone taking on a new role and support is always available. The company also offers a range of training courses, so, if I have the opportunity to join one, I go for it more often than not.

Before joining Instore, I worked as a supervisor/merchandiser at a high-end fashion store for eight years. This gave me plenty of transferable skills to join the company as a Field Merchandiser. However, when my current position became available, I decided to try something different and office-based.
What do you do in your downtime?
I love spending time with my family, movie nights, bike rides and walks.
