Pass It On launches new website

Pass It On, the campaign supporting homeless and vulnerable people has a new website to coincide with the launch of its annual winter clothes collections.  It’s all part of a move to become an independent charity, expanding its reach and working with more partners to help even more people across the UK.

Pass It On began as goodwill initiative by Smiths News and Instore in 2016.  Since then we have helped over 4,000 people, with operations growing every year. Our focus is on providing immediate relief through the supply of warm clothes, sleeping bags, vital toiletries and nourishing food. This winter will see the biggest campaign ever with support from some great brands and celebrities to give us publicity.

It’s therefore the right time to relaunch the campaign and become an independent charity.

Jonathan Bunting, CEO of Smiths News and founder of Pass It On, explained:

Since 2016 we’ve helped thousands of homeless and vulnerable people, but we want to reach many more. And to do that we need to put in place the structures and organisation that will allow us to expand what we do.’

Becoming an independent charity will also strengthen our mission.  We believe everyone should have a safe place to stay and call home – until then we will work to provide immediate and tangible improvements to homeless and vulnerable people across the UK.
