Safety and service – working hand in hand

As Instore returns to full working capacity, the safety of our colleagues and customers will be our first priority.  As part of this commitment, we’re adopting the four principles established by our parent company Smiths News to guide the reintroduction of our operations.  By following these guidelines, we aim to ensure a safe and sustainable return of our service to all our customers.

The four principles are:

Safety – The wellbeing of our colleagues and customers is paramount and we will take a precautionary approach in our return to working full time

Service – we will look to maintain as full a service as possible supporting our partners and their business needs

Capability – we want to protect our long-term capability, retaining colleagues and maintaining training and investment for the future

Sustainability – we will work flexibly with our partners to support their supply chains, going the extra mile to help out as needed

Since their return to work, all our field colleagues have been using full care and protection packages which include masks, sanitisers and high visibility jackets.  We’ve been liaising with our partners to ensure our visits are compatible with their protocols, respecting social distancing and any other requirements of their workplace.

Together, our principles and our partnerships, are the foundation of a return to more normal working patterns based on safety and service.   We’re now looking forward, determined to come through the next few months in a positive spirit and with even stronger partnerships than ever before.
