At Instore we build relationships across the supply chain so we have partners that range from brand owners wanting to improve exposure and promotional compliance, to major retailers who contract with us to help control waste and improve stock management in certain categories.

With 18 years’ experience of field sales we’ve an impressive list of customers, many of whom are long term partners and naturally, we’ve come to specialise in certain categories.

Major Retailers

We work with all the major grocers and several high street retailers with a focus on impulse categories – as such we also work with convenience chains giving local reach to campaigns. Garden centres and DIY stores are a specialism too, especially for seasonal campaigns.

Independent Retailers

As part of Smiths News we have a heritage of working with independent retailers and as such we’ve developed a uniquely strong access and communication to stores across the UK. Our ‘What’s In Store’ app also provides compliance tools for suppliers and independents to work more closely through our service.

Brands & Suppliers

We work with all the national newspaper and magazine publishers as well as suppliers from categories that include lottery, greetings cards, confectionary, snacks, batteries, books & stationery and mobile networks.

Our ‘sweet spot’ is news and impulse – these are complex categories, with fast turnover, across a wide range of products, requiring constant attention and focus at retail.

In some cases missing even a day of promotion or placement can make a huge difference to sales – this is where our relationships and expertise really pays off. We’re expanding in other categories too, such as beauty products, gifts and alcohol.
